How to upgrade a UniFi device through SSH

Did you know you can upgrade a UniFi device's firmware via SSH? Here's how!


  1. Connect to the UniFi device using your chosen method

  2. Go to https://www.ui.com/download and find the required device to upgrade

  3. Right click on the download of the firmware and click 'Copy Address'

  4. Input the following: 

upgrade <PASTE LINK>

This will upgrade the chosen UniFi device through SSH!
