Gaming PC
Build

I built a custom gaming PC from scratch - choosing every component to balance raw performance, easy upgradeability, and a clean white aesthetic. Here's what I went with and why.

// Why these parts?
Built for gaming, not benchmarks
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is widely considered the best gaming CPU available - the 3D V-Cache dramatically improves frame times in games. Paired with the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, it handles 1440p gaming comfortably while the extra VRAM future-proofs it for heavier titles and texture mods.

02 Why I Built It
Performance I Actually Needed
Buying a pre-built PC means paying a premium for components you didn't choose. Building my own meant I could put the budget where it mattered most - a top-tier CPU and VRAM - without spending on parts I didn't need.
🔧
Easy to Upgrade Later
The AM5 platform has a long roadmap from AMD, and the Corsair 4000D Airflow has room to grow. When it's time to upgrade the GPU or add more storage, I know exactly what I'm working with.
📚
Learning How It All Works
As an IT engineer, understanding hardware at a deeper level is useful. Building the machine yourself means you can diagnose issues, understand bottlenecks, and make informed decisions when troubleshooting.
🎨
Clean White Aesthetic
The Corsair 4000D Airflow in white with the tempered glass panel gives the build a clean, minimal look. The Aero GPU matches the white theme - no RGB overkill, just a tidy, well-ventilated build.
